Clermont-Ferrand in France is a great place to stay for a night if you are driving to or from Spain. It’s not overcrowded city, just a pleasant small city to stay over night, have a crêpe (pancake) with cider. The city itself is remarkable for two things:
- Small Michelin shop (great place to buy maps or guides or just souvenirs);
- The Lord of the Rings-style (as truly named by Lonely Planet) cathedral;
